Answers

  1. How do I get my passwords?
    Send an e-mail to ARRA@cde.ca.gov with your organization’s name and CDS code, if applicable. The passwords will be sent to the individual on file.
  2. What logon category do I use?
    The logon category was included in an e-mail sent from ARRA@cde.ca.gov to subrecipients with the passwords and data collection system link.
  3. How do I logon to the system?
    In the Select Logon section on the main page, select the appropriate logon category. In the Logon section, select your organization in the drop down boxes. Enter the Entity Password and the System Password and select Submit.
  4. How much time do I have to enter my information once I logon?
    You have 60 minutes between each time you select Save for entering information before the application will log you off. The 60 minutes time will reset after each save.
  5. If I do not understand what information is being asked for, how do I find out?
    Select the Help link on each page. A help page will appear containing descriptions of each data collection item.
  6. What if I still do not understand what information is being asked on the data collection after reading the help page?
    Send an e-mail to ARRA@cde.ca.gov with your question. You will be sent a response containing the answer to your question.
  7. What if I do not have time to enter all of the necessary information?
    Complete the required information on the page you are on and select Save. Select Logoff at the top right of the page. The information you entered will be saved and will be displayed the next time you logon to the system.
  8. I entered some of my information on the due date and came back into the system the next day to complete the rest of my information, but I could not find the link in the Grants section. How do I submit the rest of my information?
    Information can be entered and saved for the grant report period through the due date listed in the Grants section. Each grant data entry has a due date. You can enter information up through the due date. If you need to complete or correct previously submitted data for the period, send an e-mail to ARRA@cde.ca.gov explaining your need.
  9. Why are there two dates displayed on the Menu page?
    The Subrecipient Information and Grants sections on the Menu page display the date of your last save and the date when the information is due to the CDE.
  10. Why is there red text next to the text boxes where I enter my information?
    The red text next to the text boxes are data validation messages that appear when the information you entered in the text box is not in the correct format or the information is not passing a validation rule. Read the description of the validation errors and enter revised information.
  11. How come after I pressed Save, the application did not save my information?
    You must clear all validation messages in order to save the information entered on the page. If you selected the Save button, but had validation messages appear next to the text boxes, the entered information will not be saved.
