Commissioner Munger called the meeting of the Mathematics SMC to order at 3:30 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans for the 2007 Mathematics Adoption Invitation to Submit (ITS) meeting on January 9, 2007, including:

CFIR staff walked commissioners through the agenda and PowerPoint slides for the ITS meeting and Commissioners and staff offered suggested changes. As part of the adoption timeline discussion, Commissioner Munger suggested adding an additional Math SMC meeting before the Commission meeting at the end of September 2007 to hear additional public comment on the IMAP/CPR Report of Findings for the 2007 Mathematics Adoption. The additional meeting date will be added to the agenda for the January 2007 Commission meeting. Commissioners agreed on assignments for the ITS meeting.

Commissioner Munger called for public comments and then adjourned the meeting at about 5:15 p.m.
