The CNAC generally holds a one-day meeting every other month. Periodically, the CNAC has a two-day meeting that may include new member orientation, planning, and goal-determination.

All meetings are held in Sacramento at the California Department of Education, 1430 N Street, Room 1801, unless otherwise noted. Check the meeting agendas to verify locations, dates, and times.

To ensure that the Council meets the auxiliary aids and service requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Title 2 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 - 28 Code of Federal Regulations 35.160(B)(2), request for accommodation should be made to the Council ten (10) days in advance of the scheduled meeting date. Wheelchair access is provided at all meetings.

The Council encourages clear communication and requests that individuals avoid the use of acronyms.
