State Board of Education President Ted Mitchell Issues a Statement on the Appointment of Bonnie Reiss as Education Secretary

Sacramento-Ted Mitchell issued the following statement regarding the Appointment of Bonnie Reiss as Education Secretary:

"On behalf of the State Board of Education, we are pleased that the Governor has chosen Bonnie Reiss to serve as Secretary for Education. Bonnie Reiss is an exceptional leader and her ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders is without parallel. I know that I speak for all of my colleagues in saying how much we look forward in working with Secretary Reiss in the coming months.”
