School Library Funding

From 1998 through 2004 state funding for California public school libraries came through the California Public School Library Act. The School Library and Improvement Block Grant replaced it in 2005.

2005-Current School and Library Improvement Block Grant

Beginning in 2005-06, funding for the California Public School Library Act (School Library Materials) program is included in the School and Library Improvement Block Grant, established by Assembly Bill (AB) 825, Chapter 871, Statutes of 2004.
