Public Comment Information
Public comment is invited on the programs under consideration for adoption for the 2017 History–Social Science Adoption. Links to the student editions of the submitted instructional materials are posted on the Publisher-Submitted Programs page. The materials may also be examined at Learning Resource Display Centers across the state.
The California Code of Regulations, Title 5 (Education), Section 9521(a) states:

A public comment form has been provided, but is not required.
E-mailed comments are preferred. Please indicate in the subject area of the e-mail that you are submitting comments for the 2017 History–Social Science Adoption. If you elect not to use the provided form, please indicate at the start of the e-mail or mailed comment which submitted program(s) your comment is addressing.
Comments received by July 10, 2017, will be sent to the review panel(s) that are evaluating the instructional material that is the subject of the comment. Those comments will be sent to the State Board-appointed reviewers no later than July 17, 2017. All comments, including comments received after July 10, 2017, will be submitted to the Instructional Quality Commission and the State Board of Education.
