Standards Maps

The revised Standards Maps for History-Social Science, Grades 6 and 8, have been posted to the CDE Web site at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/hs/im/hsstanmaps.asp. The Instructions have also been updated.

The only change has been to include the specific standards for seventh grade content called for in the evaluation criteria, criterion 1.12, with the maps for the sixth and eighth grades. These changes were discussed at the Invitation to Submit meeting on January 11. The additional standards map pages for grade six and eight are enclosed. The revised maps may also be downloaded in Microsoft Word format from the Web site.

Please forward this information to the person(s) on your staff that will be completing standards maps for these grades.
