Re: Reminder Providing Materials for Deliberations
(Publisher Bulletin: 2007-16)

IMAP/CRP Deliberations: Session 1: July 16, 2007 – July 19, 2007
Session 2: July 30, 2007 – August 2, 2007

This is a reminder to all publishers participating in the 2007 Mathematics Primary Adoption that you are responsible for providing one complete set of program materials for the panel’s meeting room during deliberations. This information was shared at the Invitation To Submit Meeting in January, at the March Training, and in Publisher Bulletin 2007-13. Panel members will use the materials as a reference as they conduct deliberations.

  • Do not bring manipulative kits
  • Keep packaging to a minimum
  • Bring a hard copy of your standards map
  • Use a copy of your submission list to inventory the materials you are bringing and leave it with the staff person in the room

You will be able to set up your materials in a designated place in your panel’s assigned room between 8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Monday, the first day of deliberations.

  • Session I  is Monday, July 16, 2007 – Thursday, July 19, 2007
  • Session II is Monday, July 30, 2007 – Thursday, August 2, 2007

If your program is an electronic program, you will need to provide a computer with your program loaded on the hard drive. Be advised that publishers must work with the hotel to provide internet access for the deliberations room for the week if that is necessary for reviewers to access the program. If you choose to ship or store materials at the hotel before deliberations, you must make arrangements with the hotel.

Information about panel and room assignments was provided to you in Publisher Bulletin 2007-13. A copy of this bulletin and the attachments can be found on-line at Instructional Materials {http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/ma/im/index.asp}

All programs must be removed from the deliberations rooms no later than 5:00 PDT on Thursday, the last day of deliberations (Thursday, July 19, 2007, for Session I, and Thursday, August 2, 2007, for Session II).

Please reply to this e-mail to confirm receipt no later than Friday, June 29, 2007.
