Dear Publishers of Kindergarten through Grade Eight Mathematics Instructional Materials:
The 2007 Kindergarten through Grade Eigh-8 Mathematics Primary Adoption Publisher Bulletin Briefing on September 30, 2005 was cancelled and has been rescheduled.
The proposed agenda for the meeting is enclosed.

We strongly encourage representatives from the editorial staff to attend as well as special consultants who may be working on your proposed submission.
On March 9, 2005, the State Board of Education approved the revised draft Mathematics Framework (Chapter 10 of the framework includes the evaluation criteria to be used for the 2007 Mathematics instructional materials adoption). The framework is currently being edited; however, an unedited draft version is available on the CDE Web site at Curriculum Frameworks Mathematics Frameworks 2005 .
During the meeting, we plan to answer questions related to the adoption process, the framework and the evaluation criteria. Prior to the meeting, you may email your questions to Mary Sprague, Consultant, Curriculum Frameworks Unit, at msprague@cde.ca.gov. You will also have an opportunity to ask or submit additional questions during the meeting.
If you have not already done so, please complete and return the enclosed survey form by Tuesday, November 1, 2005.
