Enclosed you will find an agenda for the Publishers Post-Adoption meeting to be held on Friday, December 7, 2007, from 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., in the auditorium at 1500 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814. We are also enclosing a copy of the post-adoption timeline.
If you plan to attend this meeting, please RSVP to Jean James at math@cde.ca.gov no later than Thursday, November 29, 2007.
If your program is adopted by the State Board of Education (SBE), we expect your company to be represented at this meeting by the person(s) responsible for California sales and the marketing of the materials you submitted, including regional representatives. At this meeting post-adoption timelines will be covered, California Education Code and California Code of Regulations, Title 5, requirements regarding sales and marketing, the piloting policy of the SBE, alternate formats, pricing, and more.
Publishers whose programs were not adopted by the SBE are also welcome to attend.
More specific information regarding the final print editions of adopted materials, gratis items, technology assurance forms, and the sending of materials to adoption-only LRDCs will be provided to you in a future publishers bulletin.
