Publisher Briefing Rescheduled

The publisher briefing for the 2008 Kindergarten through grade eight Reading Language Arts–English-Language Development (RLA/ELD) Primary Adoption scheduled for August 24, 2007, has been rescheduled to September 6, 2007. The meeting postponement was necessary to allow the Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission ample time to prepare for this presentation. Specific meeting information is listed below.

Agenda
The proposed agenda for the meeting is enclosed. Speakers at the meeting will focus on providing guidance regarding the criteria requirements for English Learners in Programs 1, 2, 3, & 5. Several questions were collected from previous publisher briefings; a document responding to these questions will be distributed.

- Staff responsible for correlating the Standards Maps for California submissions
- Individuals responsible for bids and contracts
- Sales and marketing representatives
