Presentation Guidelines for Publishers on the Day of the Presentation
- During the publishers’ presentations, please wear a name tag stating your name and company.
- Before your presentation time, please provide the presiding commissioner with the name of your company, the name of your program, and the name of the lead presenter from your company.
- The presiding commissioner will begin your presentation by stating the company name and program title and will introduce the lead presenter. During your presentation, it is suggested that you focus your discussion on items submitted for adoption consideration.
- The timekeeper will signal that you have two minutes before the end of your allotted time. When the timekeeper signals that the presentation has ended (The End Card), you must stop your presentation.
- Following the presentation by publishers, the Instructional Materials and Advisory Panel (IMAP) and Content Review Panel (CRP) members will have 10 minutes for a question-and-answer period. Then the CRP and IMAP members will have five minutes to reflect on the presentation. They may wish to look further at your display or may have additional questions. Please vacate the room as quickly as possible on completion of the CRP and IMAP members’ five-minute discussion period.
- Please remember that contact with the CRP and IMAP members is limited to your scheduled presentation time.
Thank you for planning and providing an informative session on your program(s) and for your cooperation in following these guidelines.
