- District:
- Name of district.
Grade Span:
- The lowest grade level at the district followed by the highest
grade level.
Number of Schools:
- Number of public schools in the district.
Enrollment:
- Total number of students enrolled in the district.
Percent not White:
- Number of students who are American Indian/Alaskan Native,
Asian, Pacific Islander, Filipino, Hispanic, and Black divided
by the total number of students, multiplied by 100.
Graduates:
- Number of twelfth grade graduates for the year identified.
UC/CSU Graduates:
- Number of twelfth grade graduates, for the year identified,
completing all the courses required for entrance into a University
of California (UC) and/or California State University (CSU).
Dropouts:
- Number of dropouts in grades nine through twelve for the year
identified.
1 Year Dropout Rate:
- Number of dropouts, for the year identified, in grades nine
through twelve divided by enrollment in grades nine through
twelve, multiplied by 100.
FTE Administrators:
- Administrators are certificated employees who are not teachers
or pupil services personnel. Administrators include principals,
assistant principals, program directors or coordinators, and
other certificated staff not providing direct services to students.
Full-time equivalent (FTE) is the percentage of time a staff
member works represented as a decimal. A full-time person is
1.00, a half-time person is .50 and a quarter-time person is
.25.
FTE Pupil Services:
- Pupil services personnel are certificated employees who provide
direct services to students, but who are not teachers. Pupil
service employees include counselors, nurses, psychologists,
social workers, research specialists, speech specialists, and
other medical personnel. Full-time equivalent is the percentage
of time a staff member works represented as a decimal. A full-time
person is 1.00, a half-time person is .50, and a quarter-time
person is .25.

Pupil/Teacher Ratio:
- Enrollment divided by full-time equivalent teachers.
Average Class Size:
- Enrollment in classes divided by number of classes. This excludes
special education classes, and other instruction-related assignments,
department chairs, classes with zero enrollment, and classes
with enrollment over 50.
