CDS_CODE	Character	7	County-District-School identification code.
COUNTY	Character	15	County name.
DISTRICT	Character	30	District name.
GR_SPAN	Character	4	Grade span: lowest grade level in district and highest grade level in district.
NUM_SCH	Numeric	3	Number of schools.
ENRL_TOT	Numeric	6	Enrollment total.
MINOR_PCT	Numeric	6	Percent of students who are not White. Calculation: the sum of American Indian, Asian, Pacific Islander, Filipino, Hispanic, and Black students, divided by the total students, as a percent.
GRADS	Numeric	6	Number of twelfth grade graduates (previous year).
GRADS_AF	Numeric	6	Number of twelfth grade graduates completing all the courses required by the University of California or California State University with a grade of "C" or better (previous year)
DROP	Numeric	6	Number of dropouts from grades nine through twelve (previous year).
DROP_RATE	Numeric	6	1 year dropout rate. Calculation: the sum of the number of dropouts from grades nine through twelve, divided by the enrollment in grades nine through twelve and ungraded secondary, as a percent (both for the previous year).
ADMIN	Numeric	6	Full-time equivalent (FTE) Administrators. Calculation: the sum of the percent of full-time administrative positions (represented as a decimal).
PUPIL_SVCS	Numeric	6	Full-time equivalent (FTE) Pupil Services Staff Calculation: the sum of the percent of full-time pupil service positions (represented as a decimal).
TEACHERS	Numeric	6	Full-time equivalent (FTE) Teachers Calculation: the sum of the percent of full-time teaching positions (represented as a decimal).
PT_RATIO	Numeric	6	Pupil-teacher ratio* Calculation: enrollment divided by the full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers.
AVG_CLS	Numeric	6	Average class size* Calculation: enrollment in classes divided by the number of classes (excludes special education classes, other instruction-related assignments, department chairs, classes with no enrollment, classes with enrollment over 50).

* Pupil-teacher ratio is the statistic most commonly used to compare data across states, and should not be confused with average class size
