2013–14 CALPADS Certification Report


Users are able to access CALPADS during the following times:

Days Available Hours
Sunday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Monday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Tuesday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Wednesday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Thursday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday All Hours

CALPADS is not available during nightly processing which occurs during the following times:

Sunday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Monday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Tuesday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Wednesday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Thursday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Friday No Processing
Saturday No Processing

CALPADS is housed at the State Data Center. The Data Center's maintenance periods for CALPADS occur during the following times:

Days Maintenance Hours
Sunday 4 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Monday No Maintenance
Tuesday No Maintenance
Wednesday No Maintenance
Thursday No Maintenance
Friday 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Saturday No Maintenance

Users should not work in CALPADS during these specific time periods. The CALPADS nightly processes will NOT run on Friday and Saturday nights. Therefore, the Operational Data Store (ODS) backup database, Snapshot database, and Anomalies available on Monday morning will reflect data as of Friday and any work conducted over the entire weekend. The CALPADS nightly processes will execute Sunday night and the results will be available Monday morning.
