Specific Instructions

• In cell (A10) enter the lesser of: total self-contained county classroom ADA claimed pursuant to E.C. 54749(a)(3) and/or E.C. 2551.3, or the cap on E.C. 2551.3 ADA imposed by E.C. 54749(b) appropriate for your county. Carry the number to two decimal places.
• Multiply the number in cell (A10) by the E.C. 2551.3 deficited revenue limit for your county, round to the nearest whole dollar and enter the result into cell (B10).
• Enter in cell (D10) the number of Cal-SAFE ADA that exceeds the E.C. 2551.3 cap. Carry the number to two decimal places.
• The spreadsheet (XLS; 22KB; 1p.) will automatically calculate the funding, which will be displayed in cell (E10). 
• Add the number in cell (D10) to the number of Cal-SAFE ADA representing students taught in other settings, carry the number to two decimal places, and enter the result into cell (H10).
• The spreadsheet will automatically calculate the funding, which will be displayed in cell (I10).  
• In the boxes under Column (D) enter the estimated number of child days of enrollment (add the number of days that each child of Cal-SAFE students are expected to receive child-care services). These should be whole numbers. Cell (D27) displays the total days of enrollment.
• The spreadsheet will automatically calculate the adjusted days of enrollment and will display that adjustment number in Column (G). Cell (G27) shows the total adjusted days of enrollment.
• Cell (A32) automatically displays the value in cell (D27), total days of enrollment. Cell (B32) automatically displays the value in (G27), total adjusted days of enrollment. 
• Enter in cell (C32) the estimated annual days of attendance. 
• The spreadsheet will automatically calculate the annual child-care funding, which will be displayed in cell (L32).
