School Improvement Program

A program for elementary, intermediate, and secondary schools to improve instruction, services, school environment and organization at school sites according to plans developed by School Site Councils.

Funding Information Effective Fiscal Year 2005-06

Beginning in 2005-06, funding for the School Improvement program will be included in the School and Library Improvement Block Grant, established by Assembly Bill (AB) 825. The California Education Code sections that govern the School Improvement program have been repealed.
