The Application for Categorical Program Funding declares that the LEA, authorized by the local governing board, is applying for specified categorical aid funds.

Only the categorical funds the LEA is eligible to receive are displayed. Questions regarding program eligibility should be directed to the CDE contact person assigned to the specific program. Contact information can be found at the CDE Program Contacts Web page.

Note: If the LEA is eligible to receive Title VI Subpart 1 Small, Rural School Achievement Grant and elects to participate, the screen will expand and prompt the user for participation in Title VI Subpart 1 REAP Flexibility. The LEA must select Title VI Subpart 1 Small, Rural School Achievement Grant first.

| Local Governing Board Approval Date must be on or after 05/01/2011, and must be on or before 07/31/2011 (pending dates are allowed until July 31, 2011). | Ensure that the date is correct. If the governing board does not meet until August 1, 2011 or after, then you must wait until the board meets to submit the ConApp. |
