Instructions: 2009-10 TUPE Final Fiscal Report

Consolidated Application, Winter Release (formerly known as Part II) program instructions for the 2009-10 Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Final Fiscal Report.
Data Collection Purpose

The purpose of this data collection is to collect final TUPE expenditures and encumbrances and to calculate 2009–10 unspent funds.

Preloaded Data

The 200809 Carryover Balance will be supplied by the CARS.

The 2008–09 Unspent Funds will be calculated by the CARS. The CDE will invoice the LEA for the amount of 2008–09 Unspent Funds.
Procedures
Step Action Program Instructions
1 Enter the 2010–11 Expenditures and Encumbrances. Expenditures reported will be compared with the expenditures reported through SACS. Discrepancies between ConApp and SACS expenditure reporting will need to be explained by the LEA. It is highly recommended that program and fiscal staff confer prior to submitting this information.

Error Message Resolution
Expenditures and encumbrances cannot be greater than the 2008–09 carryover balance. Expenditures and encumbrances must be less than or equal to the 2008–09 carryover balance.
