Title I, Part D
Previously, we had said there would be a dependency between the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) End of Year 2 (EOY 2) - Program Participation submission and the CARS system on the Title I, Part D data collection. We had intended to load the CALPADS certified Title I, Part D counts of students served into the CARS data collection and reference those counts in validation checks. Unfortunately, in examining how local programs track and serve these students, the Title I, Part D data collected in the CALPADS EOY 2 submission are not reliable this year. As such, we will not be loading these CALPADS data into the CARS system and will rely on CARS as the authoritative source for the Title I, Part D counts of students served.
