Data Collection Purpose
Federal transferability is governed by Title VI in ESEA Section 6123. This transferability is not the same as Title VI Subpart 1 REAP Flexibility (REAP-Flex) governed by ESEA Section 6211. Funds transferred under REAP-Flex are not to be included on this page. For further information, see the Program Guidance document.
What is Different From Last Year
The last funding year for the Title II Part D grant was 2010-11. The only current option to transfer funds under the provision of Title VI Section 6123 is from Title II Part A to Title I Part A.
Guidance
If this district has been identified as a PI LEA under ESEA Section 1116 only 30 percent of a program's funds may be transferred. Those funds must be used for PI activities. A single school district (SSD) or a directed funded charter (DFC) school whose only school is in PI and operating as a Target Assistance School (TAS), for the purpose of federal transferability, the LEA is restricted to the 30 percent limit. If the SSD or DFC is operating as a Schoolwide Program (SWP) school, the restriction does not apply.
Note: This screen will not display if the LEA is in PI Year 3 or beyond because those LEAs are prohibited from transferring any funds under the transferability authority.
