Economic Impact Aid Required Web Posting

Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA): General Assurances

The school district assures that as a condition of receipt of EIA funds, the district has posted in an easily accessible location on its Web site the data related to the economic impact aid program as required by Senate Bill 754 (Chapter 573, Statutes of 2012). Districts should continue to post their EIA information for any carryover funds that have not been fully expended through the 2013-14 fiscal year, until those funds are fully expended, pursuant to Education Code Section 54029. Such data includes the following:

  1. The amount of EIA funds used by the district for administrative costs for the 2013–14 fiscal year.
  2. The amount of EIA funds expended for limited-English-proficient pupils in the 2012–13 and 2013–14 fiscal years by the district and by each school within the district.
  3. The amount of EIA funds expended for state compensatory education in the 2012–13 and 2013–14 fiscal years by the district and by each school within the district.
  4. The amount of unexpended EIA funding as of the end of the 2013–14 fiscal year, and an explanation of why these funds have not been expended.
