Instructions: 2013-14 Title III LEP Allocations

Consolidated Application, Winter Release program instructions for the 2013-14 Title III, Part A, Limited English Proficient (LEP) Allocations.
Data Collection Purpose

The purpose of this tool is to enable the local educational agency (LEA) to calculate the total allocation amount available to the LEA for Title III Part A LEP, and to report required allocations.

Please visit the Request for Applications Web page to obtain the funded entitlement amount for the LEA.

Procedures
Step Action Program Instructions
1 Enter the 2012–13 Carryover. Provide the 2012–13 Carryover.
2 Enter the Repayment of Funds to be repaid to the LEA’s Title III fund in response to a fiscal audit, a Federal Program Monitoring review, or a complaint investigation. The amount must equal the determination made from the foregoing processes.

3 Enter the amount to be reserved for Administrative and Indirect Costs.

This amount is not to exceed two percent of the 2013–14 Allocation.

Error Message: The Indirect And Administrative Cost Amount exceeds the allowable 2 percent for administrative costs.

Reason: The Indirect And Administrative Cost Amount cannot be greater than 2 percent of the 2013–14 Allocation.
