Consolidated Application, Spring Release program instructions for the 2017–18 Title III, Part A Immigrant (IMM) Student Program Subgrant Budget.
Data Collection Purpose

The purpose of this form is to provide a proposed budget for 2017–18 Immigrant Student Program Subgrant funds only per the Title III, Part A, Immigrant Student Program requirements (Every Student Succeeds Act, Title III, Part A, Sections 3114, 3115, & 3116).


Guidance

Only LEAs that have 21 or more eligible immigrant students, and that have experienced a significant increase of two percent or greater growth in eligible immigrant student enrollment in the current year compared with the average of the two preceding fiscal years are eligible for Title III, Part A Immigrant Student Program Subgrant funds.  Use your Immigration student count that was provided to the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System on census day of October 5, 2016.

Enter an Estimated Immigrant Student Count.

Required field. The count entered must be greater than zero.

Use your Immigration student count that was provided to the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System on census day of October 5, 2016.


Displayed Data - Entitlement Amount

Estimated entitlement amount: Value is calculated by multiplying the per student allocation amount by the estimated Immigrant student count.

Enter an Authorized Costs amount.

Required field. Enter an amount equal to or greater than zero.

3 Enter a Direct Administration Costs amount.

Required field. Enter an amount equal to or greater than zero.

Amount entered cannot exceed 2% of the estimated entitlement.

4 Enter an Indirect Cost amount.

Required field. Enter an amount equal to or greater that zero.

The amount entered should not exceed the estimated entitlement amount multiplied by the LEA's approved indirect cost rate (ICR) as published on the California Department of Education Indirect Cost Rates (ICR) Web page.

Direct Administration Costs Amount

The direct administration costs amount cannot exceed 2% of the estimated Immigrant entitlement amount.

Reduce the amount entered to be less than two percent of the estimated Immigrant entitlement amount.

Total Allocation Budget Amount

The total allocation budget amount must equal the estimated Immigrant entitlement amount.

Adjust one or more budget item amounts so that the budget total equals the estimated Immigrant entitlement amount.
