Dear County Offices of Education Chief Business Officials:
The State Controller’s Office (SCO) will distribute the 2005-06 third quarter lottery apportionment on June 29, 2006. The total to be apportioned to county offices of education, school districts, and charter schools is $215,044,498.30 or $32.36 ($32.357425578) per unit of average daily attendance (ADA) for the unrestricted lottery apportionment and $58,975,419.43 or $8.87 ($8.873944418) per ADA for the Proposition 20 apportionment.
Enclosed for your information are the Remittance Advice and a copy of the “Lottery Educational Apportionment System Master Register” (Master Register). The Master Register lists the ADA, apportionment, adjustments, and net amount actually paid to each county office, school district, charter school, and community college district on a quarterly and year-to-date basis. The Master Register is also posted on the SCO’s Web site at http://www.sco.ca.gov/ard/payments/lottery.
