Dear County Office and District Chief Business Officials and Charter School Administrators:
REVISED 2005-06 LOTTERY REVENUE PROJECTION
We are revising our projection of lottery revenues for 2005-06 due to lower than projected actual sales through the first quarter of the fiscal year. Although it is still early in the fiscal year and the Lottery Commission has not revised its official projection, we are lowering our projection to correspond with actual sales at this time for your consideration as you update your budget. We are revising our 2005-06 projection from $125 per unit of average daily attendance (ADA) to $121 per ADA for unrestricted lottery revenues and from $29 per ADA to $25 per ADA for Proposition 20 revenues. We will continue to monitor sales and advise you of any further changes to the projection.
