Funding supports 23 regional offices to provide supplementary educational and support services to eligible migrant children and youth throughout California. The regional offices also give technical assistance to local educational agencies to identify and address the unique needs of migrant children and their families. The California Department of Education (CDE) is pleased to announce the Supplemental Program Application for funds and allocations to migrant program regions. This allocation provides additional funds to support activities and services that will help migrant children meet the state’s academic standards and reach proficiency on State assessments. Supplemental funds to regions are determined using the current funding formula. Please refer to the Request For Application (RFA) link for more information.
