Funding is intended to provide services in areas of professional development related to using technology as a tool to improve teaching and learning, technical assistance related to hardware and telecommunications infrastructure design, and a marketing program to educate all clients on the range of technology services available.

| Required Eligibility Criteria |
The local education agencies selected will be required to use the program funding to provide a range of technology services, including staff development, and technical assistance to all school districts and county offices statewide. Funding cannot be used to the exclusive benefit of the regional lead agency. |
| Other Eligibility Considerations |
The local education agencies selected will be required to provide services to ALL clients in each of the following areas: 1. Professional development and learning resources related to using technology as a tool to improve teaching and learning. 2. Professional development and support related to hardware and telecommunications infrastructure design, implementation, and sustainability. 3. Professional development and support related to using technology as a tool to improve school management, including pupil record keeping and tracking related to pupil instruction and data driven decision making. 4. A marketing program to educate all clients on the range of technology services available 5. Funding and coordination with other federal, state, and local programs. |
