EETT Formula program provides funding to assist local educational agencies (LEAs) in improving student achievement through the use of technology in elementary and secondary schools. The funding supports ongoing, sustained, intensive, and high-quality professional development to integrate advanced technologies into curricula and instruction. No application is necessary.

| Required Eligibility Criteria |
LEAs must have an educational technology plan approved by the California Department of Education that meets state guidelines and federal requirements. LEAs must receive Title I, Part A funds, which serves as the basis for allocating Title II, Part D funds. |

LEAs not receiving Title I, Part A funding may participate in the program if they apply in a consortium with an LEA that receives funds under Title I, Part A. |

| Other | LEA technology plans are submitted to their regional CTAP office. CTAP will review to ensure that the technology plans meet federal and state guidelines prior to submitting to the state CDE for final approval. Plans can be submitted to CTAP in one of three filing cycles (A, B, or C) as follow: · Cycle A: October 9, 2009 (Recommended for E-rate) · Cycle B: December 4, 2009 (Recommended for E-rate) · Cycle C: April 9, 2010 All technology plans must be received by 5:00 PM on or before the Cycle Date to be considered for that review cycle. Late submissions will not be considered for that cycle, and processed in the next cycle. No technology plans will be considered for the fiscal year 2009-10, if received after April 9, 2010. |
