NOTE: The application due date for this program has passed.
Funding Description
The California MEES program is a statewide home-based and school-based family literacy education model. It assists migratory parents to increase literacy skills so that they can prepare their children, birth to seven years of age, to become successful learners. MEES helps migratory parents develop literacy, parenting and English-as-a-second-language skills. It also provides preschool services to their children. Families that participate in MEES must be classified as migratory under Migrant Education guidelines.Eligibility
