2011 Regional Market Rate Survey of California Child Care Providers

The purpose of this Regional Market Rate survey is to calculate the market rates for child care in each of California's 58 counties. The State will use these rates to establish maximum child care reimbursement rates for child care services to families in various state and federal subsidized child care programs administered by county welfare department and other APP or voucher programs.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants	Individuals, institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria	Public or private corporations, agencies, organizations or associations may submit proposals in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP). The applicant must be legally constituted and qualified to do business within the State of California. With the exception of applicants whose legal status precludes incorporation (i.e., public agencies, sole proprietorships, partnerships) applicants who are not fully incorporated by the deadline for submitting proposals will be disqualified.
Other Eligibility Considerations	Show clear evidence of a minimum of two year of recent (one of which must be within the last three years of the RFP release date) experience in the development and operation of a large-scale survey and development of statistical tables similar to that described in the RFP. The project director assigned to this project must have at least two years experience in managing similar projects of comparable scope and size.
