Gender Equity Train-the-Trainer Grants

Funding Description

The request for applications is being used to award up to 20 train-the-trainer grants of $5,000 each to local educational agencies (LEAs) to establish a program of professional development in the identification and elimination of gender bias and inequity in California LEAs.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria An LEA may submit proposals in response to this RFA. At the time of the grant award, grantees must identify and assign staff to become trainers. Also, they must have sufficient infrastructure and ongoing resources to realize the training plan in this RFA.
Other Eligibility Considerations See the RFA for three required criteria, seven essential criteria, and four desirable criteria.
