Regional Occupational Centers/Programs

Before 2008-09, the funds were restricted to the Regional Occupational Centers/Programs (ROC/Ps), which allocated funds to school districts and county offices of education (local educational agencies). The ROC/P programs provide valuable career and technical education to high school students 16 years of age and older, and adult students so they can (1) enter the workforce with skills and competencies to be successful; (2) pursue advanced training in postsecondary educational institutions; or (3) upgrade existing skills and knowledge.
