CTSOs are a valued instructional component utilized to teach leadership and interpersonal skill development for students in career technical education programs. State legislation provides funds to maintain and strengthen the six CTSOs operating in California.

National CTSOs have granted the California Department of Education (CDE) charters for the state operation of CTSOs in California. Applicants are limited to only the six organizations recognized by the CDE to run the state operation of each CTSO. |
