Adult Education Professional Development

Funding Description

The California Department of Education (CDE) has entered into a professional development contract for adult education. The contractor will implement a large-scale statewide professional development project that supports high performing literacy and basic skills programs, as defined by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title II, in adult education by providing quality professional development for administrators and instructional staff.


Eligible Applicants Institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria The awarded agency has prior experience in conducting large-scale projects of a similar nature and scope; has staff members with specific adult education, professional development and research analysis experience.
