California Career Center Virtual Counselor

The Governorís 2005 Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways initiative for expanded vocational and career technical educational opportunities for middle school and high school students was successfully carried through Senate Bill (SB) 70 by Senator Scott and reauthorized through SB 1070 by Senator Steinberg. The Career Center Virtual Counselor Web site provides educators tools for teaching career and college readiness. It is organized so that students can independently use the site for career and college planning.
