Allocation Formula Local educational agencies (LEAs) and direct-funded independently reporting charter schools that were not participants in the California School Information Services (CSIS) State Reporting Program are reimbursed annually at the rate of $.25 per student, based on the LEA’s certified enrollment count. This year the allocation amounts have been prorated and offset. The proration, using the following calculation, was based on the amount of funding we had available for distribution: (LEA Enrollment Count/Total Eligible Enrollment Count) X $828,000 The offset was due to some LEAs and direct-funded independently reporting charter schools not receiving their reimbursement for 2011–2012. The 2011–2012 allocation amounts had to be prorated when these LEAs and direct-funded independently reporting charter schools were recalculated.
