Funding Description

The California Department of Education (CDE) is soliciting proposals from eligible bidders for debt collection services of CDE's delinquent accounts receivable. It is expected that the awarded contract term will be July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 and will include the option to renew for two additional one-year terms at $60,000.00 each year, for a total potential 3-year amount of $180,000.00. Proposals are due to the CDE by 2:00p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014

Eligible Applicants Other organizations or agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria Bidders must have a minimum of five years (within the last 10 years) fulltime experience in debt collection services. Also, the bidder must be legally constituted and qualified to do business within the State of California.
Other Eligibility Considerations If required by law, any business entity required to be registered with the California Secretary of State must submit a current Certificate of Good Standing issued by the California Secretary of State.
