The California Department of Education is seeking a contractor for the administration, scoring and reporting of the California High School Exit Examination. The exam will assess students in language arts and mathematics aligned with state-adopted content standards. Commencing with the graduating class of 2006, all students graduating from high school are required to pass the exam.
