NOTE: The application due date for this program has passed.
Funding Description
The California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) award cluster grants on a competitive basis to Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) teacher induction programs. There are six regional clusters and two grants are awarded per cluster. The grantees identify a teacher induction program consultant to assist the school district or consortiums of school districts forming a cluster. Primary responsibilities include assisting in designing, implementing, refining, and evaluating the teacher induction programs; disseminating information on teacher induction programs to all interested participants within the cluster; and collaborating with other cluster staff and state administrative agency staff statewide to ensure ongoing program effectiveness and improvement.Eligibility
