Online Application Instructions
Phase One - Iniial Application
Step One
Using your Internet browser, go to the Management System for Administrator Training (MSfAT) (Outside Source).
Step Two
Log into the system using the assigned user name and password. For information regarding user names and passwords, please refer to Application for Local Educational Agency (LEA) Administrator Training Program Funding.
Step Three
Complete the online application. In order for your application to be complete, you must:
- Identify a contact person if one does not already exist
- Check off all the assurances
- Identify funding levels requested
- Add the training participant names and birthdates
- Check off all plans for ongoing professional development
- Press submit button
Once the online application has been submitted properly, the system will immediately notify you that the application was accepted and it will prompt you to print the application.
Phase Two - Application Approval
Your completed application will be reviewed by the California Department of Education (CDE) and submitted for State Board of Education (SBE) approval. Amendments to the application will be permitted in January through February 2009.
Phase Three - Identifing Training Providers
Once you have received notification from the CDE that your initial application has been approved, your LEA’s contact person must return to the Web site, again using the assigned user name and password, go to the Training Provider link, scroll through the list of training providers and select the one(s) who will be providing training for your district.
Phase Four - Program Administration
It is the LEA’s responsibility to monitor the site to ensure that contact information is updated per any changes and to review the training summary for accuracy.
