An opportunity to apply for Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-13 funding for the Administrator Training Program is available. Please be advised that these applications will go before the November 2012 meeting of the State Board of Education for approval. The grant period for these funds is from July 1, 2012 through September 1, 2014. All training and online surveys must be completed by that time. The Administrator Training Program supports professional development that focuses on building principals' and vice principals' leadership skills and the capacity necessary to serve effectively in their critical and complex roles. Federal funding comes from No Child Left Behind (NCLB): Title II, Part A, Principal Training.
