The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides additional Fiscal Year 2009 Title I, Part D funds to local educational agencies for schools that have high concentrations of students from families that live in poverty in order to help teaching and learning for students most at risk of failing to improve state academic achievement standards.
