Dear Select County Superintendents of Schools, Auditors, and Treasurers:

NOTICE OF THE NINTH APPORTIONMENT FOR THE
CALIFORNIA SCHOOL AGE FAMILIES EDUCATION PROGRAM
FISCAL YEAR 2007-08

This apportionment, in the amount of $141,495, is made from funds provided in Item 6110-198-0001 of the Budget Act of 2007 (Chapter 171, Statutes of 2007), California School Age Families Education (Cal-SAFE) Program.

County superintendents of schools are requested to immediately inform recipient school districts of this apportionment. Warrants will be mailed to county treasurers approximately four weeks from the date of this Notice. For standardized account code structure coding, use Resource Code 0000, Unrestricted, and Revenue Object Code 8590, All Other State Revenue.

This apportionment is based on revised fiscal year 2007-08 annual data reported on Cal-SAFE Forms B and C, and constitutes 100 percent of the 2007-08 fiscal year entitlement for each local educational agency, less any amounts apportioned previously.
