Executive Summary

The Revised Final Apportionment, in the amount of $3,623,889, for the Kindergarten and Grades One through Three Class Size Reduction Program for fiscal year 2013–14 (amounts deferred from fiscal year 2012–13) will be certified on April 30, 2014. Pursuant to Section 91 of Senate Bill 1016 (Chapter 38, Statutes of 2012), the attached report was prepared for submission to the Legislature. It shows the data that were used to calculate the amount that will be certified. The entitlements calculated for each school district and charter school equals the fiscal year 2012–13 actual pupil enrollment counts submitted on the revised Form J-7CSR, less the amounts already paid in the September 2012 advance apportionment, February 2013 provisional apportionment, and July 2013 final apportionment.
