NOTICE OF APPORTIONMENT TO THE
KERN COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
FOR THE FISCAL CRISIS AND MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE TEAM
FISCAL YEAR 2007-08
This apportionment, in the amount of $385,000, is made to the Kern County Superintendent of Schools from funds provided in Item 6110-485-0001 of the Budget Act of 2007 (Chapter 171, Statutes of 2007) in support of the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT). The amount apportioned is equal to the amount set aside in Paragraph (11) of the Item for the purpose of conducting comprehensive assessments, pursuant to California Education Code Section 41327.1, of the Oakland Unified School District, the Vallejo City Unified School District, and the West Fresno Elementary School District. Of the amount apportioned, $150,000 is for an assessment of the Oakland Unified School District, $125,000 is for an assessment of the Vallejo City Unified School District, and $110,000 is for an assessment of the West Fresno Elementary School District.
A warrant will be mailed to the Kern County Treasurer approximately four weeks from the date of this Notice. For standardized account code structure coding, use Resource Code 7810, Other State: FCMAT Comprehensive Assessments, and Revenue Object Code 8590, All Other State Revenue.
