The High Priority Schools Grant Program (HPSGP) is intended to assist the lowest performing schools in the state in raising student achievement by offering additional resources targeted at student performance. Legislation has authorized funds for a second cohort of the HPSGP. Schools invited to participate in the second cohort of the HPSGP will receive a $50,000 planning grant in fiscal year 2005-06. A completed Application for Planning/Letter of Intent is the only form required to initiate this process. The implementation guidance and application will be posted later this month.
