The California Department of Education (CDE) is accepting applications from local educational agencies (LEAs) for the Assembly Bill 790 Linked Learning Pilot Program to implement districtwide Linked Learning pathways. Linked Learning delivers an academically challenging course of study that focuses students on a self-selected career pathway; engages students in project-based classroom activity; and provides a supportive school climate through small learning communities. Linked Learning courses of study include job-specific content and work-based learning opportunities in order to build a better educated workforce.

Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should have a copy on file and do not need another copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application (RFA). |
