The Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program apportionment funds are unrestricted funds to reimburse districts for costs associated with the STAR Program that are above and beyond the California Department of Education statewide contract with test contractors. The tests included in the STAR Program for 2009 are the California Standards Tests (CSTs), California Modified Assessment (CMA), California Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA), and Standards-based Tests in Spanish (STS).
