CCIP Cover Letter

Dear California Child Care Resource & Referral Network:

REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2011–12 Child Care Initiative Project  

The California Department of Education (CDE) announces the availability of Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) matching funds for fiscal year (FY) 2011–12. The CCIP funds will provide an additional support piece for current CCIP contractors to assist in their efforts to increase the quality of family child care at the county level. The CCIP Request for Applications outlining all requirements for the CCIP funds is included with this letter.

The completed CCIP application is due in the CDE, Child Development Division by September 8, 2011, 5 p.m.
